    Referendum Information

On Nov. 3, 2015, voters in Lakeville Area Public Schools approved capital and operating levies. Approval of the capital levy will create a consistent funding stream that will provide increased, equitable access to digital tools and resources to enhance learning and help students be career- and college-ready. It also will provide funding needed for equipment to support Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programming and improve safety and security for all students. Approval of the operating levy will be used to reduce class size (e.g., student-to-teacher ratio) at the secondary level. Funds raised also would enable the district to reinstate elementary art and fifth grade band, as parents have requested.
