On Wednesday, May 1, the Lakeville Area Schools Board of Education held an Emergency Meeting to approve a Strike Preparation Resolution. As a result of Education Minnesota-Lakeville¡¯s intent to strike notice, this step is necessary for the District to be prepared in the event a strike occurs.?
Lakeville South High School 11th grade student Myles Miller recently won the My District, My Minnesota art program for Senate District 38 with his photography piece titled Hiraeth.
On April 30, Education Minnesota-Lakeville (EML), the teachers¡¯ union, announced it filed for strike authorization. Per state statute, the District and Union have a 10-day window to engage in mediation before EML may begin striking. Learn more about what this means.
