Equity in Lakeville Area Schools is the intentional practice of working in partnership with our community to eliminate bias and barriers within our school system and ensure access to an inclusive learning environment that affirms and supports success for all students.

Equity Services supports the development of inclusive learning environments to ensure high achievement for every learner. To accomplish these goals, the district creates and follows an Achievement and Integration Plan that provides staff development, student support, and diverse curricular activities. 

Achievement and Integration Plan (A&I Plan)

The Minnesota Department of Education has required that all racially diverse and adjoining districts design and implement a plan to address the achievement gap. We will achieve this goal as a district by developing cultural awareness among our staff and students, providing equitable academic opportunities and support, and increasing student and family engagement. The A&I plan details how we will achieve these goals.
