Lakeville Area Schools is excited to have a monthly staff recognition program that highlights staff nominated by other employees! The superintendent meets each staff to present them with a recognition award and a gift card donated by the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lakeville.

April's Staff of the Month are:

Dani Martin, Instruction and Behavior Coach, District-Wide

Nominated by Amy Raffelson, special education coordinator.

“Dani is a district wide Teacher on Special Assignment - Instructional and Behavior Coach in the Student Services Department. Dani supports teachers and individual students across the district, where she is needed, and never needs to be asked twice to support. Dani is creative, solutions focused and always keeps student needs at the center of her problem solving. She is willing to jump right in and make positive relationships with students to help them be successful at school. She is always positive, and finds strengths in every student she works with. Dani is an exceptional educator and a leader in innovative solutions.”

Kyle Gare, A/V Technology Support Specialist, Lakeville North High School

Nominated by Drake Rodriguez-Airhart, technology support specialist II.

“Kyle brings a great attitude to work everyday. He has given the technology department a very human face by building relationships with both the staff and students at Lakeville North High School. Whenever I go to LNHS and walk around the building with him, I see both staff and students greeting him and conversing with him which demonstrates to me that he is a pillar of the community in his building. Technology support at Lakeville North High School would not be the same without Kyle!”
