ATTENDANCE at LAKEVILLE SOUTH

  • Student absences, early dismissals or late arrivals MUST BE reported by a PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN via email, phone call or a written note.
Please note: we DO NOT have an open campus. Students will need prior permission from a parent/guardian to be excused from class. Please notify the school of the absence as soon as possible.

All students MUST check-in at the Attendance Desk on their way in/out of LSHS other than those with schedule exceptions (i.e. hybrid class, on-line class, student aide hour or PSEO).

Scanning System - Student ID Barcode

Our scanning system is NOT connected to attendance in Infinite Campus. The scanning system's purpose is to notify parents/guardians when your student arrives or leaves the building.
Barcodes can be found on student IDs or in Infinite Campus (cell phone or iPad). Students will need to present their barcode when scanning in or out of the building.

    Reporting Absences

Students do not excuse themselves from school. If a student is 18, a parent/guardian will still need to excuse their student.

Students are expected to attend school each day. If your student is sick, on vacation, or unable to attend school all day, please report their absence.
