    Arrival and Departure

Students may enter the building when the first bus arrives, at approximately 9:10 a.m. Students who do not ride a bus should not arrive at school prior to 9:10 a.m. as we do not provide supervision. Students may not enter the building (unless they are in Kid Zone) until 9:10 a.m. All unsupervised students must leave the building by 4:00 p.m. For children who need early/after-school supervision, please enroll in Kid Zone.

    Late Arrivals

Students who arrive late for any reason (except a late bus or safety patrol duty) must be checked in by a parent or guardian from the vestibule before going to their classroom.

    Early Dismissal

For excused absences during the day, such as for doctor or dental appointments, students are expected to bring a written note stating the times they are to be excused.

    • A parent must pick up and sign out children by swiping their drivers license in the vestibule.
    • If a child is returning to school from an appointment, he or she must be checked in by a parent or guardian from the vestibule before returning to their classroom.

    Volunteer Information

When volunteering at Eastview Elementary, please use our Visitor Security System. This system allows students, families, staff, and community members to volunteer at our school and help ensure a safe and secure environment for all. If you are scheduled to volunteer during the school day, please bring your state-issued ID, such as your driver’s license to swipe upon entrance.

    There are four steps:

    1. Push the red button.
    2. Swipe your State-issued ID.
    3. Proceed to the School Office and pick-up your printed badge and display during your visit.
    4. Swipe your ID on your way out to check out of the building.

We truly value the parents, volunteers and community members who spend time in our buildings to help support our students.
