Arrival and Departure

Students will be welcomed into school when the 8:40 am bell rings unless they are eating breakfast at school.  Students eating breakfast will be allowed into our school at 8:30 am.  Students will not be allowed on our campus before 8:30 am due to lack of adult supervision. For students who ride the bus, when the first bus arrives, students may enter the building and proceed to their classrooms.

If you need to pick up your child early, you must do it before 3pm.  Between 3pm and 3:15pm we are in the middle of end-of-day routines. Thank you for understanding.

When a student is absent for any reason, the parent is expected to notify the school by email (preferred) at LVEattendance@isd194.org or by phone at 952-232-2619.  Please provide your child’s name, teacher’s name, grade level, and reason for the absence.

Visitor Information

When visiting Lakeview Elementary, please use our Visitor Security System. This system allows students, families, staff, and community members to visit our schools and help ensure a safe and secure environment for all. If you plan to visit during the school day, please bring your state-issued ID, such as your driver’s license to swipe upon entrance.

There are four steps:

1. Push the red button.
2. Swipe your State-issued ID.
3. Proceed to the School Office and pick-up your printed badge and display during your visit.
4. Swipe your ID on your way out to check out of the building.
